I have some members having validation problems. It says that "either they have been validated already or the link is bad". I have re-sent the validation to see if that worked but they still can't get through and get validated.
I'm guessing the validation url is getting cut in half either by the mail client, or by the mail server itself. comcast is known to do it.

Sorry for my newbness, but we are having some similar problems, I have created characters for the people that are having problems, but is their a solution to this problem. Do they need to submit a differenet email address, is there some setting on their email account that might solve this problem? I just would like ot know the answer so if we have the problem again I can resolve it quickly.

I have noticed that a number of validation emails get bounced with "Sorry, you have to click this link if you want me to accept your email." It seems to be a security setting on the email (that is, if they aren't even getting the email).

If they ARE getting the email, and it's getting chopped, the answer is just to append the rest of the url to the base.

So if the text of the email is soemthing like:

http://www.blalbhalbha.com/validate.php?email=blah@
yahoo.com&validation=16545

Then you'll just have to copy the "yahoo.com&validation=16545" onto the rest of the url in the address bar if your browser, to make the full url:

http://www.blalbhalbha.com/validate.php?email=blah@yahoo.com&validation=16545

That should work. Thanks.
