Ok, so I've finally gotten to poking around GRSS - does it automatically award DKP in-game, or is that only done when you're uploading raid events and tagging them with destinations?

I'm sure this has been asked a multitude of times - point me in the right direction 'tis all

It does not award DKP in-game. It only subtracts in-game.
