Ok,

So I just started doing DKp for our Gruul's lair fight's. I have GRSS mod and CT_RaidTracker. We are learning these fights still and so I try to upload the Raid for The time we where there. We did not receive any Loots and so when I uploaded it there was nothing that showed up other than the CT_raidtracker file that has the raid Info and TImes (which are wrong as well even tho I have it set to server time on the options page) but I still uploaded the File.

I then go to the DKP standings for our raid and There is nothing there. So in the middle of this I go to "Raid Attendance" and Manually put in everyones information.

Question is is there something that I am missing? or doing something wrong? Help please. Thanks.

If you have GRSS why are you trying to uploade CT_RaidTracker? With GRSS when you attempt a boss or start a raid just do a manual snapshot for each attempt or at raid start and raid stop. That way you have data you can upload to award points with. GRSS will also track loot if any drops from trash or a boss.

If I am not mistaken CT_RaidTracker like GRSS will only track automatically based on events that occur in the game. If not loot dropped then there would be nothing in the file to upload.

Jack Burton: Hey, what more can a guy ask for?
Egg Shen: Oh, a six-demon bag!
Jack Burton: Terrific, a six-demon bag. Sensational. What's in it, Egg?
Egg Shen: Wind, fire, all that kind of thing!
Hmm... you have a good point. I hadn't thought about doing an manual auto screen shot.

So understanding that when we raid and there is no Loot during the fight I can should do a Screen shot at the beginning of the raid ( kind of a "just in case") and then again at the end of the raid. I should be able to upload the raid using GRSS and give Dkp for Everyone and it will show up like if we had loots.

** I was using CT_RT just b/c I was noob and didn't think about doing the SS at beginning and end of the raid. I shall not have to use anything but GRSS now. I like using GRSS better anyway. It is user friendly and just easier to do. I use it when I am doing our Kara raids for the Phat loots we get. (I don't use DKP for Kara) **

Thanks for your help Saudorun, I'll have to Try that again for our Gruul's.

Second.

I also was playing around with the GRSS in game and I do use the waiting list for replacement invites but and in putting ppl on the waiting list I found you can do Mass Invites from Calander Events.

The problem I ran into last night was it had the Event for This past Sat.'s raid and nothing for last night's. Is there something else I need to Look for Under /grss invite? I think I would like to use that for mass invites and of course still place people on waiting list.

Any suggestions?

Did you run the update utility for GRSS before logging into the game? I always made it a point to make sure I ran the get script that retrieves data from the site right before starting the game on raid nights. That way I had the most updated DKP and Calendar data.

I'll look when I get home so I can quote exact file names unless Chops chimes in first.

In your addons folder in the GuildRaidSnapShot folder should be an exe file (I think it's GETGRSSDATA.exe) and a .pl (perl script) of the same file. When you run the exe it should have a dialog box that pops up and asks for your websites URL. When you enter it and hit "OK" it will go to your site and download your current DKP and all the event data from your calendar. In order for the data to be available to the MOD in WOW you must run this application prior to launching the game. It also contains an auto update script that will check/update your GRSS version each time you run a get so that GRSS is never out of date.

It's all in the reflexes.
OK so I got good news!!

I set the Grss for a 30 min Snapshot for our whole raid. Then Makeing the DKP for the night is SOOOOoo easy. U not only can give everyone the DKP for the 30 min but I can also add Xtra DKP for those who may have been Ontime or a boss kill just W/E.

Thanks for the help once more!
