Have you considered or are you working on a mod that does in game invites based on website sign ups? Would be great, just a thought

Woodiee.

Ability is nothing without opportunity.

This is one mod that I would really like to see implemented

Interesting. I'll give that some thought. Could be an addition to the GRSS.

Chops,

We just came from a guild that used a php raid viewer that you could do raid invites ingame. The ability is something that is sorely missed and makes the invitation process painless. Also, its a great way to promote more use of your website by your guilds members. When using a mod that is tied in the signups mandates people to sign up on the website.

I know that with enough pressure, you will make GRSS the catch all mod that we are all yearning for.

Yep, an ingame invite tool based upon those that signed up on the webpage would be really nice.

We could all sing your praises even more Chops if that is possible since you already have a great service.

It's definitely something I'll be adding.

I must apologize for not getting a newer version out with some of the features everyone's been suggesting, but rest assured that the new version of the GRSS will help a lot.

The following minimum changes will be in the next (non-bug-fix) version:

-Auto-Inviting from Raid List
-Waiting List
-Automatic download of the newest GRSS version through the GetGRSSDKP.exe (and the soon to be added GetGRSSDKP_OSX for MacOS X)

That's the bare minimum. I still plan on adding, and want to TRY to get it in the next version, but it all depends on the difficulty (and therefor speed I can produce it)
-Linking the items in the Bidding/Rolling box, rather than typing
-Possibly (and this is a big IF) using the Loot Assignment capabilities of mods to do loot assignment in the GRSS mod. That one is going to be tough, and depending on how that works, it's not guaranteed that I'll add it. The last thing I want to happen is some wierd mod quirk that I wasn't expending ending up having all your priests get the Plagueheart Robe because of a freak bug in the mod. It's certainly SAFER to stick with the blizzard UI, in that regard.

Sweet!!

Ever thought of making it so GetGRSSDKP.exe:
1.Checks for updates and auto-updates if necessary (as you mention)
2.Automatically updates dkp from website (you have to make it so that the web url we put in doesn't get rewritten every time we get a new version)
3.Launches wow

The Changes to (1) will prevent (2) from happening anymore.

(3) is out of the question, as blizzard specifically instructs people and mod writers to NOT write launchers, and I won't disobey.

Good for YOU! One of the things that is most concerning with mods... making sure that the writers are in compliance with Blizz... Never ever want an account banned because of a mod!!

would it be possible to send out a PM to all people with administrative rights when you come out with major patches or new services all together? I check here, but have a hard time if its a new topic or an old one revisited so i rarely bother reading all the way through to the meat of things.

Thanks!
I keep a list of all changes in the Change Log
