Description:
I have our forum settings set to "Default to "Classic Mode"?" = No

However, it is defaulting to Classic Mode anyway.

If I click "Classic Mode" in the forums and then "Simple Filter" it goes back to the normal thread layout I am used to.

I'm on Firefox on Windows XP. And possibly of note, I can not load the CSS file for the website (I'm on a heavily locked down Internet account at work and the domain where the CSS files are located is banned).

Try clicking "All" on the simple filter first (or selecting something on the Advanced filter). THis should force it to remember you're not using Classic mode.

That worked. I'll do some testing later tonight though, I want to see what happens for new users.

Okay I was able to test with a test account and the defaults I set for the site do work for new accounts. Seems it was just a bit wonky for current users, and probably only for me because I was clicking on everything and ended up getting stuck in classic.

All good now.
