Hi,

I would like to specify what should be updated with the Armory. I find that if it updates everything then it breaks some things like their rank or level.

So if you can give us some option like only update current gear, current level, only Arena Standing etc.

The Armory is not the most reliable data. I mean I still have members that have been in our guild for months, but according to armory they're still lvl 50 and part of their old guild.

Even go as far as to capture the data for people that aren't willing to install the DKP mod. For some reason they just don't like having that little icon in their bottom left uploading info, and I find it tough to force people to use it.

In other words - if somebody hasn't uploaded a snapshot ever or more than a month ago, only then update their profile from armory.

Currently it's an all or nothing approach.

I should like to correct that the automatic armory update doesn't bring in rank information.

The suggestion to only update those who don't use the mod is a very good idea, however.

Ok. I was having some issues a while back (more than a month) where I kept getting new ranks created and people assigned to the ranks. I ascribed this to the armory updates happening and disabled it. I also haven't had the issue since then - but it could have been something else doing it.

So - what processes do create ranks ?

Is it the DKP Profiler upload or the GRSS snapshot upload ?

I've now enabled my Armory again and will see what happens. It would be nice to have a combination of the Armory, DKProfiler and GRSS uploaded as each one adds more depth to the final info available on the website

The GRSS Roster uploader will create ranks to match those ranks in-game.
