I have a guild website with you guys (reason.dkpsystem.com)and a few people were complaining that on their screen the left colum covers up the pictures. How do I fix this so it doesnt happen?

Also, I was thinking about getting one of the premade color layouts, but on the top it has the statistics information with a link to the forums. We don't use those forums so I was wondering how I can get that off the top and put something else like maybe the Calender up their instead?

Thanks in advance

After dropping in the template, you can head to Admin > Advanced Layout Options, and download the "Current Layout File."

then edit that file and look for the text [Go To Forum]. Deleting that will take it out altogether. TYou could also insert <!--System:Calendar--> to put a calendar there instead.

Then reupload it (to that same page) and click "Test" (be sure to disable popup blockers for that page).

How about for the first question. About how it blocks the pictures and stuff? Do you know why this happens?

Hmm that sounds like you are opening it in a WYSWYG editor. Try right clicking the file you downloaded and on the menu go to open with and choose Notepad or Wordpad. That should open it as the raw text file.

Hmm when I click Use It..I can't right click it and get the open to open with =/
help?
Saud means right clicking the file on your computer.

After you save the file by right clicking "Current Layout File" and choosing "Save As," it puts the file (layout.html) on your hard drive, at which point you can edit it in a program like notepad.

Right clicking "Use It" won't do anything.

Ok I did this and I looked for the Go To Forums but no luck. =/
I am having the same problem. We do not use the dkp system Forums and I am only using a layout that I edited the color scheme on, not a template.

At the top with my stats it gives links to the Forums and to RSS. I can not remove the forum link and its making me bonkers!

Fixed. That was a bug that I had fixed in the past, and then had accidentally overwritten those changes. My fault there.

One thing to remember, is that your CURRENT layout doesn't have this. Like I said, you need to make that change AFTER you've deployed the new layout.

Yes, I know that. I have to change it back to this layout everytime because I don't want that layout showing the forums so I change back to this until I hear a response from you.
Thanks so much for fixing this, it helped alot

I was wondering if there is a way to get rid of the topstats all together though? And then just center my banner on the top of the webpage?

If you are willing to edit the HTML in the layout page you can do a lot of things. If you want to keep the stats you can just make a new table or row in the existing table and put your banner in that above the stats. Or you can delete the stats and the table cells that hold them. Here are the system tags for all the stats box stuff.
<!-- System:TopStats -->
<!-- System:NextEventName -->
<!-- System:NextEventDate -->
<!-- System:NextEventTime -->
