I don't handle it but it will most likely be implemented by the guild soon. If the guild has 2+ raids(depending on size at the time this starts) going on the same day- is it easy enough to implement each seperate raid based on the attendee's? I'm assuming both raids would need to have the dkp mod downloaded to load to the site separately? Are there any suggestions for doing this the smoothest way? I'm just doing the background before the DKP is actually implemented. I'm looking over various DKP threads and info now, just wondering what I should prompt the dkp masters to have on hand. Thanks!

Every Raid group should have at least 2 people running GRSS. 1 person should be the primary person responsible for tracking DKP for the run but there should always be another person running it as a backup in the event that a game/server crash or other anomaly happens that can corrupt the data or prevent it from being saved.

Each raid should upload their DKP results from GRSS into the system. keep in mind that in the structure of statistics and tracking the way Chops has them laid out each Boss Encounter or manual snapshot taken is essentially counted as a separate raid. So lets break this idea down simply. In game concept you run Karahzan in 1 night and that is your raid. Karahzan has 12 boss encounters. To GRSS and the DKP System each of these is a separate raid and tracked as such. Why do I bring this up and why is it important to know. You have 2 groups running Kara. Each group completes the entire instance and all 12 encounters. This means you are going to have 24 snapshots loaded. When you look at Raid Attendance none of your members will ever have more than 50% attendance. This is do to the fact that they were part of a distinct raid group that completed 12 events but your site knows there were 24 events completes or loaded. This might not be important to you but it matters to some people that reward guild members based on attendance.

Thank you! I know attendance will matter. And that's a great idea- backup is always a good concept.

So when the 2nd group loads their DKP on the same night- it won't in anyway cancel out or mess up the 1st group's load, right? It should be safe given the people who attended each raid? I know that's a question that may come up

That is correct. Depending on how you set up events in your calendar each run should map to something specific to show who was where and with what group.

lets say on 8/17 you have Raid 1 Kara and Raid 2 Kara. When the raid leaders/officer for raid 1 upload their snapshots from GRSS they will have an option to associate those snapshots to an event. Each set of leaders simply needs to make sure what group they are responsible for so they are associating their uploads to the right events.

Thanks! Makes sense to me.
