Is there anyway to modfiy the body of the posts user identification? to say... remove the stats on number of posts and such?

If not, is there a way to make it so that the text box containing the body of the post is expanded to match up against the user information box?

right now its semi annoying and it looks unprofessional in my opinion, I was just wondering if there was some way to simplify it so that it looks like a post on regular forums.

EDIT: Added an example of what im referring to.
http://forum.barthilas.com/viewtopic.php?t=149 Both components of the post match up creating one solid block for the post even though the picture expands the post far past the information in the user information section.
I know exactly what you're referring too. In fact, the older version of the forums used to look very similar to that, and the changes were made to make them a little "Stlyistic."

What I will tell you is that there are plans to implement a specific customization of the forums in a manner similar to the Advanced Layout Options.

While this is in the works, however, give the forums a whirl for a while and see if they grow on you...they do for most.

I agree, I am not completely in love with the forums, but it has its advantages. The format allows people to read forums they might otherwise over look while having the search cuts down on forums they don't really care about...

but if there was just someway to clear up some of the nonessential clutter, like the number of posts and percentages and such that would go a long way towards easing my mind

I might be able to swing something like that.

Forums used to look like this. I don't like it that way because it provides no separation between posters in my opinion. I wouldn't call the forums unprofessional looking. The problem is that what is aesthetically pleasing to others is not to everyone.

Six Demon BagRefresh This Item
Jack Burton: Hey, what more can a guy ask for?
Egg Shen: Oh, a six-demon bag!
Jack Burton: Terrific, a six-demon bag. Sensational. What's in it, Egg?
Egg Shen: Wind, fire, all that kind of thing!
