I was wondering if yall could share your methods for fairly and evenly support having too many for 1 class for raids?

e.g. I would like to have a few extra of each class that wait to raid to cover for absences and avoid having any pugs, but when there are regularly 1 or 2 too many, I want to make sure the same person isn't excluded every time.

Thoughts?

Lump your classes into a hierarchy:
Healing
Priests
Paladins/Shaman
Resto Druids

DPS
Mage
Rogue
Warlock
Hunter
Retribution Paladins (that refuse to heal)
Fury/Arms Warriors

Tanks
Protection Warriors
Feral Druids (that refuse to bring healing gear)

Of course this kind of break down doesn't solve everything because you obviously need some specific things for some encounters. Having a lack of the right kinds of CC can stop a fight dead. But this is how we lump things to make some people interchangable.

Six Demon BagRefresh This Item
Jack Burton: Hey, what more can a guy ask for?
Egg Shen: Oh, a six-demon bag!
Jack Burton: Terrific, a six-demon bag. Sensational. What's in it, Egg?
Egg Shen: Wind, fire, all that kind of thing!
There will be "Class Groupings" coming rather soon.
