I have done a search before posting and tried the solutions I saw but to no avail. When I copy my CSS code I cant find any of the before mentioned sugestions to mod the code to remove the "popular threads" form my website.

Here is alink to the website were using a drop in template. Any help at all would be much apreciated as would prefer not to have this on our forums.

I'm not seeing the popular threads section on your site. Did you change templates?

Alrighty. Head to Admin > Layout > Advanced Layout Options.

There you'll want to download the "Layout File" and remove the section of the code that looks like this, then re-upload it.
