Is there a way we can make it for Hours till sign ups close not days?

At the moment, no. But that change is coming. It will allow you to enter a floating point (ie decimal number). So you could do 2.25 days before, and it would be 2 days and 6 hours.

That would accomplish what you (and others requesting this feature) are looking to accomplish.
