Hi Chops. I have another dumb question. I am unable to edit other peoples posts in the forums. Is this right or should I be able to. As of now, I can only edit my own posts.

Unfortunately, this isn't a feature available, but it's definitely one that's a top priority.

I refuse to ever delete or modify anything that another person posts, even if I disagree with it.

I think it falls in line with the "I never want to ever delete anything ever" idea. If locking cannot resolve the thread issue I'd prefer to have the user censor themselves... If it is still an issue then you can reconsider their place in the guild.

I just think it's asking for trouble to have moderators edit forum posts.

AS I thought about this...

You know I think it would be really interesting if you took on a wikipedia approach to keeping track of post versions. So you could see all posted updates when a post is edited.


*shrug* sounds pretty complicated for ~10% of all posts though.
