1. Anyway you could lock the guide from other edits while it's being edited? When two of us are excited and plugging away we don't know the other one is in it and overwrite their changes.

2. Could you make it reload the content when you click on edit instead of simply editing the existing content? On occasions the page may still be up from yesterday and the edit never refreshes the page so we end up editing content that is several revisions back.

answer to question number one: the chance is unlikely you will save the change at the exact same time so both changes should be in the history which you can view

Yes. That does happen, however that requires that one or the other realize that overwrites are happening and then someone has to manually merge the two.

I'd love to see wiki style sections so that people can edit just a part at a time, but it seems to me like locking would be quicker to implement right now.
