This countdown is absolutely beating me. Maybe the problem is using a drop down template? Not sure.

Anyhow here is what I have site wise and my layout sheet. I am not an expert in this coding at all and I am also not completely new.

Are you trying to add a "simple" countdown (one that shows just the countdown when they load the page) to your site's layout, or are you trying to add a more "live"-type countdown, one that counts down on its own while the page is active?

Yeah, each drop-in template is a little different and some of the codes won't work with others. I'll tinker around and see if I can find you a decent code to add to your site for the event countdown.
